Delete your ZiA account

The quickest way: in the app

Open the ZiA app, go to Profile and choose Delete account. Your account closes straight away, unless you have a payment still in progress — one you started in the last 24 hours that has not finished — in which case the app will ask you to wait for it first.

What deleting your account does

• Your name, phone number and email are removed from your account.
• Your saved deals, your notifications and any emails waiting to be sent are deleted.
• You are signed out everywhere, and you can no longer log in.
• Your phone number is freed, so you can create a new account with it later if you want to.
• We keep the record of what was bought, and your reviews, because tax and accounting law require it — but none of it identifies you any more. Your reviews show as “A customer”.

If you still hold vouchers you can use, use them or let them expire first — deleting the account would throw them away.

Can’t use the app?

Tell us the phone number or email address your account uses. We will contact you there to confirm it is you, then close the account.

Venue accounts

Accounts for venues using ZiA Merchant are closed by ZiA, once payouts are settled. Email hello@ziaexperiences.co.tz.
